I have painted and drawn for most of my life but neglected it for some years.  Since retiring I have been fulfilling my desire to dedicate more time to my art.  I am inspired by landscape and love to paint en plein air when I have the opportunity, but am equally happy in a life class or in a studio with an interesting still life.  I also love to paint birds.  I use a variety of media including pencil, oil, ink and Scraperboard, but have of late been exploring gouache for still life.  My current medium of choice is probably acrylic.
