Having spent many, many years wanting to be an artist, I finally took the plunge in 2022 and undertook a foundation diploma in Art and Design at Hereford College of Art. Since completing this I've been developing my own practice whilst also curating friends' exhibitions and researching into nineteenth century ceramics.

 

The work I'm displaying for Bromyard Art Walk comes from my fascination from drawing at real size. From old masters, through moss on bark to reflections in the River Teme, I'm fascinated how working on detail loses its wider context and makes it fascinating in its own right.
