Lay the lantern dull side up. (dull side is the front, shiny side is the back) with the wire at the top.
Leave a 2 cm border each side- this is so can be put together later.
Now draw, paint, print, collage your Christmas design on the front
(Think about your design and maybe try out some ideas on a spare piece of paper)
Write your name and school/group/ or phone number either on a piece of masking tape or onto the fabric on the back (shiny side), bottom right hand side.
When you have finished your lantern:
Wait until your lantern is dry, (the lanterns will be constructed all together at a later date) and then put it in your envelope. Write your name, school or group or address on the envelope.
Return your finished lantern to –
Your school or group.
Post it in the Lantern Post Box at the big Coop
OR contact Vicki at - firstname.lastname@example.org or text 07817588981 to arrange collection.
