I am a self-taught portrait artist, starting with portraits of my grandchildren when I semi-retired. Before that I was a Primary Head Teacher and a Hereford Magistrate, but I always yearned to spend time painting.

I like to focus on light, and an emotive,narrative quality in my portraits and landscapes. I take commissions and have sold over 500 paintings world-wide, using all media to suit clients, and recently learning about digital painting.

Some of my portraits are posthumous - of babies, adults, horses, cats and dogs - and I love the fact they bring comfort to my clients.
