Jane Tudge
Contemporary artist, using wax, found objects, text, stitch, and photography. She is fascinated by the family photo album and the untold stories they contain. Interested in hiding and revealing, remembering and forgetting, she makes sculptures and 2d works, often drawing because it frees her mind.
Jane completed her first degree in Fine Art at Hereford College of Arts in 2006 (she got a first) and has been practising as an artist ever since. She went back in 2017/18 to do an MA (distinction) and continues to experiment in a wide range of media.
Until earlier this year Jane worked from her own studio gallery on Market Square in Bromyard. Ill health prompted her to close this, but now she is happily settled in her new home studio.
