Pippa Meddings

Working experimentally in acrylics, watercolours and mixed media, I paint plants and the local landscape. I try to capture the spirit of the subject using translucent glazes, heavier opaque layers, loose expressive strokes and drawing back into the surface I have created to introduce detail.
